Fact: Colossal Squid Eyes
The Colossal Squid, which is larger than the Giant Squid, is believed to be the largest invertebrate in the world. The eyes of the very few specimens of Colossal Squid ever collected have been between 30-40cm(12"-16") in diameter. This makes the Colossal Squid Eyes the largest eyeballs of an any living creature. It is also believed that the Colossal Squid may have the largest eyeballs of any creature that has ever lived on earth, including the dinosaurs and the blue whale.
